Get ready for the 2025 Greater Adelaide City Nature Challenge!
Event description
Join in the 2025 City Nature Challenge! Make observations of wild plants and animals 25-28 April, and take part in one of the largest community science events in the world while helping us better understand – and therefore, take care of – nature that lives in and around urban areas.
Come along to this webinar with Stephen Fricker from Ferox Australis to find out how to get involved!
In the 1-hour webinar you will:
- learn about the importance of biodiversity
- find out more about the City Nature Challenge and how you can become involved across Greater Adelaide
- be introduced to the natural history app iNaturalist and how it can be used to record biodiversity.
If you haven't already, we encourage you to check out http://www.inaturalist.org/ for more information and to download the iNaturalist mobile apps for iOS and Android prior to the webinar.
This event will be run online via zoom. Please register (FREE) to receive the zoom link. An access link will be sent via email one day prior to the Event.
