Get Ready, Plan Ahead - Brisbane Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DIDRR) Online Forum

Join in the conversation about the latest work in Queensland to ensure people with disability stay can safe and well in times of disaster.  

Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) has been working in communities across the state to help build emergency preparedness capabilities in people with disability and the services that support them, and inclusive emergency management practices in emergency services, councils, and state government agencies.  

This online forum will bring together the voices of project participants and collaborative partners to share about how people with disability are leading emergency preparedness conversations and bringing their lived experience to emergency management. 

And we’ll look at the new DIDRR Framework & Toolkit for Collaborative Action and what it means for Queenslanders.
