    Supporting Stronger Communities Grant information session

    The Supporting Stronger Communities (SSC) grant program gives Neighbourhood and Community Houses and Centres the opportunity to access grants of up to $10,000 to target poverty and disadvantage in their local communities.

    This grant program is offered through a partnership between the Sidney Myer Fund and the Australian Neighbourhood Houses and Centres Association (ANHCA).

    It is available to all Metropolitan houses and centres as well as those located within towns with a population above 15,000 people who are members of their state peak bodies (NSW - Local Community Services Association (LCSA); QLD - Neighbourhood Centres Queensland; SA - Community Centres South Australia; TAS - Neighbourhood House Tasmania; VIC - Neighbourhood Houses Victoria; WA - Linkwest)

    Round 9 of the Supporting Stronger Communities grant program is currently open and closes on the 10th of March at 3pm (AEST).

    To help you prepare an application for this grant program, Emily Harnett, ANHCA National Grant Manager, will walk you through the application process as she will:

    • explain the grant program
    • outline what you can apply for
    • showcase previous grant recipients for inspiration
    • walk you through the assessment process
    • outline the assessment criteria
    • provide some pointers about what the assessment panel are looking for in applications
