Get Weird With It: Halloween Papier-Mâché | Ages 16+

This two-session Halloween themed workshop is an invitation to slow down, get your hands messy, and make something wonderfully weird. 🌀

In Session One, you'll build the foundation of your piece using cardboard, armature wire, and other materials. Want to make a mask? A creature? A candy vessel? The direction is yours to choose! We'll wrap the day with your creation drying for next week. In Session Two, we pick up where we left off and get into painting, decorating, and finishing your wonderful work. 

Whether you're a seasoned maker or have never touched papier-mâché in your life, you'll leave with a finished piece that will bring you some joy this Halloween season.

Guest Educator Bio: Fry (she/they) is a graphic recorder, illustrator, and educator who believes images are a powerful tool for creating positive change. Her interest in visual work is founded in an appreciation for deeper levels of listening, cultivating new mindsets, and allowing space for people to be creative. Session One: Sunday, October 11th, 1-5pm

Session Two: Sunday, October 18th, 1-4pm

$100 will get you 7 hours of hands-on learning, as well as included access to our SCRAP Studio Drop-In on Thursday, October 15 from 4-6pm (conveniently between sessions, so you can work more on your project)!

All tools and materials provided. No experience necessary. Ages 16+.
