Event description

I’ll Build Your Website in One Hour (Over Coffee)

Here’s the kind of result you can expect from this session:
👉 connecta.org.nz

This is a focused, done-for-you session where I build your website live while you sip coffee. You don’t need any tech skills — just show up. We’ll meet at my local café, I’ll shout the coffee, and by the end of our time together, you’ll walk away with a clean, professional one-page website that’s live and ready to use.

🧾 What’s Included

  • A modern, responsive one-page website, built live

  • Domain + hosting setup handled for you

  • Coffee included (obviously)

  • A quick pre-call before we meet to grab the basics and get aligned

  • Post-session support — I’m available to make any changes or updates you need afterwards

🕒 The 60-Minute Schedule

We’ll use our hour well — part kōrero, part build:

  • 10 mins – Meet, settle in

  • 10 mins – You tell me about your business or project

  • 15 mins – Together we shape the site content and structure

  • 15 mins – I build the site live

  • 10 mins – Buffer

💳 Other Costs

  • Domain – usually around $32/year

  • Hosting – usually around $28/week

These will need to paid for on the day. Please bring your credit card.

🛠️ A Few Notes

  • The focus is on launching a (MVP) Minimum Viable Product.

  • Post-session changes are totally fine — once it’s live, I’m available to help refine or improve it as needed.

🔗 About Me

Kia ora — I’m James Ian Rowles, a web designer and Webflow developer based in Auckland.

I recently moved back to Aotearoa after the classic stint in the UK, where I spent time living and working in Scotland. Now that I'm home, I’m excited to be building sites for local projects and organisations that actually mean something.

My first project back in NZ is the NZMM site for NZ Music Commission.
