Wed, 20 Nov, 5:30pm - 8:30pm AEDT

Event description

The climate tech industry continues to grow in Australia with more jobs becoming available both in climate-specific businesses and companies looking to implement more sustainable practices, with the city of Melbourne presenting many opportunities for employees to transition to the sector and/or upskill in their current role.

This event is for anyone who is:

- Curious about entering the climate tech industry

- Looking to explore job opportunities on the night

- Looking to upskill quickly into the climate tech space

- A climate tech founder looking for potential co-founders and employees

Join the EnergyLab and Melbourne Climate Network communities for a panel discussing how to get a career in climate tech. Our panel of experts have experience across the entire sector with founders who have transitioned industries to those who specialise in upskilling employees to work in the climate tech field.

After the panel, there will be some organised networking for attendees to meet new potential co-founders and employees plus a jobs board and other activities.

Our panel includes:

Megan Fisher - CEO & Director at EnergyLab

Simone Pianko - Head of Australia at Terra.do

Jessica Gower - Founder at Equoia

Nadia Mecoli - Director of Strategy Office at RMIT

Alison Read - Senior Climate & Environment Specialist at Telstra
