Event description

Many parents report finding having conversations around consent with their children awkward and difficult. This presentation aims to alleviate parents’ concerns and explains the gendered cultural drivers behind young people’s behaviour in relationships; frames age appropriate information about consent; and simplifies how to engage young people in open, honest and rewarding conversations.
