This workshop will help you to discover and develop techniques, tools and strategies for checking in with your community music group:

• Learn ways to uncover expectations about group identity, hopes and dreams for the future and individual and collective values
• Acquire strategies for identifying and developing a healthy group culture through participant engagement 
• Take home resources that support you to facilitate a session with a music group.

What to expect?

You can anticipate in depth conversations and group activities exploring questions such as: 

• How do we get a group on the same page?
• How can we enthuse group members to consider group values and visions?
• Who should or could facilitate this discussion?
• How can a group identify its strengths and challenges?
• How do we build on strengths and collectively navigate challenges?
