A Process for Fostering Harmonious and Tuned-in Music Communities
This workshop will help you to discover and develop techniques, tools and strategies for checking in with your community music group:
- Learn ways to uncover expectations about group identity, hopes and dreams for the future and individual and collective values
- Acquire strategies for identifying and developing a healthy group culture through participant engagement
- Take home resources that support you to facilitate a session with a
music group.
Facilitated by Lyndal Chambers and Brian “Strat” Strating, inspiring musicians with a lifetime of leading quality music-making experiences and community building activities.
What to expect?
You can anticipate in depth conversations and group activities exploring questions such as:
- How do we get a group on the same page?
- How can we enthuse group members to consider group values and visions?
- Who should or could facilitate this discussion?
- How can a group identify its strengths and challenges?
- How do we build on strengths and collectively navigate
challenges?
