In this workshop you will learn how investing in your accounting software can transform your financial management while saving time and resources in your business.
Throughout the workshop, Andrew will explain the main differences between Xero and its competitors, so you can choose the best fit for your business. He’ll guide you through using Xero, from keeping records to reconciling your bank accounts and managing invoices and bills.
Plus, he’ll give you tips on how to explore the Xero app store and find partners who can help you make the most of your accounting software. By the end of this workshop, you’ll feel confident deciding which accounting software is right for your business and getting started with Xero.
This workshop will cover:
- Introduction to Xero and cloud accounting
- Key differences between Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
- Navigating Xero
- Record keeping requirements with the ATO
- Reconciling your bank accounts
- Invoices (and features like reminders, auto-debit), bills (and automating bill entry)
- Navigating the app marketplace and working with a partner
- Process of getting setup or converted
Presenter: Andrew Erkins
