Golden Graduates Luncheon 2026

Vice-Chancellor Professor Cheryl de la Rey warmly invites you to this year’s Golden Graduates Luncheon, a special occasion to celebrate your enduring connection with UC.

Our guest speaker, Dr Tom Logan, is a Rutherford Discovery Fellow whose research explores how disasters affect the systems we all depend on. From flooded roads to power outages, he will reveal how disruption in one place can have unexpected consequences elsewhere. Drawing on New Zealand examples, Tom will share how this research is helping communities better prepare for the future.
