Gheorg Workshops: Improve Mental Health Access to Support Kids in WA (for Families)
Description
ABOUT GHEORG
Gheorg is the friendly robot app that supports kids to manage anxiety, build resilience and reduce stress.
Co-designed with 1,000+ students as well as educators and health professionals, Gheorg empowers kids aged 7-12 years old to improve their emotional intelligence and mental wellbeing.
Gheorg recently received a grant from the WA Government to improve mental health outcomes for kids in remote areas. This new funding for Gheorg will work towards bridging the gap between anxious kids who need help and their mental health professionals allowing them to connect. Gheorg will also be translated into new languages.
As part of this funding, Gheorg is running online 60min workshops via Zoom to discuss how to best support kids with anxiety and other mental health challenges.
