Ghost Tour of OKC's West Village, Film Row & Arts Quarter
Event description
Take a stroll west of downtown to hear true spooky stories of OKC! Stories include:
... the history of Film Row, including two explosive fires that gutted whole buildings,
... the gray man ghost of the Civic Center--caught on tape,
... and the "Pretty Lady" spirit in the Paramount's basement!
Our walk will meet outside the Floating Bookstop about 15 minutes before start times to get folks checked in. Each tour will last 80 to 90 minutes. Our outdoor route will include about six blocks, ending near the Paramount Building. Masking and vaccination are suggested.
This isn't a "jump-and-scare" tour like a haunted house; it is a storytelling walk telling true tales researched from interviews and public archives. While not an official paranormal investigation, guests are welcome to bring small, portable equipment for their own use. Check out http://jeffprovine.com/ for more information.
