Gidgestock Music Festival 2024
Event description
Gidgestock Music Festival returns for its 9th year this October, bringing some of the best local music Perth has to offer to the beautiful hills of Gidgegannup, for this family-friendly, fund-raising festival, just 45 minutes from Perth city.
Experience a natural amphitheatre bush setting, a total of 22 live bands, campfires, rustic camping and dancing under the stars. Wake up to the call of the kookaburras and enjoy fine fellowship and great music and, on Sunday morning, a hearty cooked breakfast!
The musicians/bands donate their time, as do the stage crew and a group of fabulous volunteers who, together with our considerate Sponsors, make the event possible. The venue too is donated by our wonderful hosts, Steve & Jo Mitcham, who generously open the gates of their beautiful 50 acre property for the festival weekend.
All profits from the Gidgestock Music Festival are donated to the West Gidgegannup Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Leukaemia Foundation, St Barts, Shalom House and Zero to Hero.
Bring the kids as there are many activities during the weekend to keep them occupied, from bush art to cuddly animals and much more.
Market stalls, Psychic Readings and the fabulous Kookaburra boutique for pre loved clothing will keep the adults entertained.
There will be a variety of food and coffee vans but alcohol is BYO only.
Gates open noon on Friday, so come early to secure a fabulous spot and enjoy the atmosphere. Music from 6pm – 10pm on Friday, on Saturday from 10am – until midnight and on Sunday from 8am until the festival closes at 12 midday.
