You know that feeling when you meet someone and within two hours it feels like you've known them for years? That's what we're building.
The Big Lesbo Getaway is a boutique weekend escape for 16 people over Matariki weekend - intentionally small, intentionally intimate, intentionally designed to bring the right people together and give you full permission to enjoy every single second of it.
(And yes, the name is a little gay. So is the vibe. That's entirely the point.)
The Big Lesbo Getaway is fully inclusive and warmly welcoming of our entire FLINTA* and rainbow whānau. If this is calling to you, it's for you.
We've taken over a stunning private retreat in the heart of Hawke's Bay and we have thought of everything - all you need to do is show up.
What's included:
A private chef taking care of every meal - breakfast, lunch and dinner - because you deserve to be fed beautifully. All dietary requirements catered for, just let us know at booking.
Morning meditation to start each day with intention.
Private winery tours on Saturday - behind the scenes with the people who actually make the wine, with our own mini-bus and driver. Think the movie Wine Club but for lesbians.
Fresh eggs from the property's own chickens every morning.
A 14-16 seater hot tub, pool table, pickleball court, pool, outdoor fires, indoor fires, and a lawn made for absolutely living your best life on.
10 ensuite bathrooms - because we love each other but we also just met.
A few surprises we're keeping up our sleeve.

About the rooms:
Most rooms at this retreat are shared - but very comfortably so, and the property is incredibly spacious with plenty of room for alone time whenever you need it. There are 10 bathrooms onsite so you will never be waiting, along with multiple lounge areas and kitchens (and even a real-life tap for pouring you the best beers).
For those purchasing a stranger share ticket, we use a match pool system. When you buy your ticket you'll answer a few short questions to help us pair you thoughtfully with your roommate.
Couples are warmly welcome. We have one dedicated couples room, but if you'd prefer to purchase tickets individually and be placed together in a shared room or paired room, we will absolutely make that happen - just add a note at checkout.

Your own bed, a brand new friend next door. Most rooms at The Big Lesbo Getaway are shared - but very comfortably so. The retreat is incredibly spacious with plenty of room for alone time, and there are 10 ensuite bathrooms onsite so you will never be waiting. There are multiple lounges and kitchens.
When you purchase this ticket you will be asked a few short match pool questions to help us pair you thoughtfully with your roommate. Trust us - this is part of the magic.

One gorgeous private room, just the two of you. This is the only dedicated couples room at the retreat so once it's gone it's gone. Purchase this as a single transaction for both people.
Couples are also welcome to purchase individual stranger share tickets and request to be paired together - just add a note at checkout and we will make it happen.
