GIPPSLAND PRIDE FESTIVAL - 1 DAY SPECIAL EVENT AT COAL CREEK, KORUMBURRA

Gippsland Pride (Gippsland’s LGBTQIA+ Charity) hosts its annual LGBTQIA Festival Day at Coal Creek Community Park on 25 January 2025 - jam-packed with community activations, incredible entertainment, kids activities (Youth Zone), Forever Rainbows ‘Pride in Aging’ Tea Garden, Gender Affirming no-cost Op Shop, Drag workshops, LGBTQIA+ performances, support organisations and service activations, Motafrenz Car Display, Food and Drink and so much more!

DATE: Saturday 25th January 2025

TIME: 12 Noon - 6.00 PM

LOCATION: Coal Creek Community Park and Museum

COST: $15.00 for Adult, Children under 16 FREE. 

* No cost tickets for Concession Card Holders, First Nations folks, those living with disabilities, Trans and Gender Diverse Folks and those over 60 as priority communities - no questions asked for those who need the cost barrier removed to participate fully in this event.

Set to be our BIGGEST 1 Day Outdoor Activation yet, We are so proud to partner with Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, to deliver an all-inclusive Festival Day for LGBTQIA+ Gippslanders and Allies to come together for a wonderful special event in Korumburra!

The special day includes:

• Forever Rainbows 'Pride in Aging' Garden and Afternoon Tea - Supported by Switchboard
• Pride Amphitheatre and Stage: Music, Drag Performances and Entertainment

• Emergency Service Displays
• Health and LGBTQIA+ Support Services
• Families and Carers Station
• Support Services and Agencies 
• Burra Brewery Bar (over 18)
• Gippsland Pride - FREE Gender Affirming OP SHOP
• Drag Workshops and Stage
• MotaFrenz Car Display
• Coal Creek Historical Village activation
  
• Sensory Safe Space and Rest Stop (with Mental Health First Aid Support)

Important Information and Access Support

• This is a secure event and registration is required for entry, catering and security purposes
• Limited no cost tickets are available, so please let us know if you can't make it so we can provide that spot to others
• Not registered? You can purchase a ticket with a valid ID on entry on the day. 
• Please ensure you advise any access requirements and we will do everything we can to assist your experience.
• We will confirm bus/transport options as soon as possible and this will require separate registration.
• Stallholders are provided 2 tickets, additional tickets must be purchased
• A shuttle will be running throughout the entirety of our event to ensure your full and accessible participation throughout the park.
