Go behind the scenes to discover how the centre manages water temperature and quality, including its use of geothermal technology and advanced chemical filtration systems. Hear about emerging partnerships with the physiotherapy team and how the facility is supporting health, rehabilitation and wellbeing.
The tour will also include a visit to the gym, with an introduction to the YMCA’s role in operating the centre and creating opportunities for health, connection and community participation.
Flat, enclosed shoes are essential as the Aquatic Centre can be wet and slippery.
The behind-the-scenes areas can be noisy due to machinery.
There are two flights of stairs.
Some areas have low ceilings, so taller visitors may need to duck.
