Event description

Skate of Mind is a grassroots, national touring collective of skaters, filmmakers, photographers, and artists. We run community engagement events, workshops, music, art, digital art, projection, and soundscape design in regional communities.

Spurred on by the success of our Girl Skate event in Sydney delivered in partnership with Californian-based group Girl Swirl. We have joined with Skate of Mind team member and Illawarra local skater, Flic Turner, to encourage and nurture girl skaters in Illawarra.

A weekly meet-up each Tuesday afternoon, at 4 pm at the new Port Kembla skate park, will start on 7th October.

Everyone is welcome to attend the workshops (all ages & skill levels), we just want to help create a great skate environment that welcomes girls and women.
