GirlTrek (the largest health movement for Black women; a non-profit organization with over 1 million strong), Elizabeth River Project, and Paradise Creek Nature Park invite you to join us for a GirlTrek SisterHood Saturday Harriet Tubman Commemoration. Harriet Tubman's unwavering courage and relentless pursuit of freedom continue to inspire Black women today to overcome adversity and fight for justice.
Come out for this fun, informative, explorative event to meet and connect with local GirlTrek members and Elizabeth River Project staff as we explore Paradise Creek Nature Park, a hidden Portsmouth gem, and plant an apple tree in honor of Harriet Tubman. Light refreshments will be served.
