GIRO D'ITALIA WINE TASTING - October 2025

Travel around Italy and tantalise your tastebuds with our Giro d'Italia Wine Tasting presented by Italian sommelier, Alessandro Moscatelli from Profumo Wines who will give you an insight into each wine, their characteristics, how it is produced and what makes them so unique.

Five exquisite wines and a special Liqueur from four different regions of Italy all matched with six delicious tasting dishes. A complete sensory experience!       

WINE TASTINGS:           

• Cester Camillo Prosecco Rose` Cuvee Extra Dry NV (Veneto) - Matched with "Spiedini di Asiago e Olive": Mini taster stick with Asiago cheese and olives.

• Casa D'Ambra Ischia Bianco DOC (Biancolella Forestera) 2023 (Campania) - Matched with "Capesante Lardellate": Pan-seared scallops, crispy pancetta, diced tomato and Vincotto dressing.

• Cantine di Dolianova, "Prendas" Vermentino DOC 2023 (Sardegna) - Matched with "Malloreddus Carciofi, Vongole & Bottarga": Traditional Sardinian pasta served with artichokes, clams and finished with Bottarga (Italian cured fish roe).

• Anna Maria Abbona, Dolcetto Langhe DOC 2023 (Piemonte) - Matched with " Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe - Direct from the Cheese-wheel": Fresh Roman pasta tossed inside our wheel of Aged Pecorino cheese, finished with freshly cracked black pepper made right before your eyes.

• Laiolo Regnin "La Mora" Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2021 (Piemonte): Matched with "Filetto di manzo Mignon, San Daniele e Zucca" - Mini beef eye-fillet wrapped in San Daniele Prosciutto served pumpkin puree`, balsamic onion, baby carrot and finished with a red wine jus.

• Walcher, Noisetto Liqueur 21% (Hazelnut + Caribbean Rum + Cocoa Distillate) (Piemonte) - Matched with "Mini ANFE Tiramisu`": Mini version of ANFE's signature dessert made with Pavesini biscuits, coffee, mascarpone cream and chocolate chips.

PLEASE NOTE - BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Seating for this event is very, very limited and will be allocated on a first-in-first-served basis. If you are purchasing your ticket singularly and are part of a group, please send an email to info@anfe.com.au with the name of your Table Booking Name so we can ensure you will be seated with together. Tables are "long-lunch" style and can seat up to 18 people so if your group is smaller, you will have other people on your table.

To enter on the day, please bring a copy of your Humanitix Ticket Purchase on your phone.

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person by advising ANFE of the name change.

Entry will be via the Main Entrance ONLY located by entering from the ANFE driveway in Victor Street.

Limited car-parking available on-site. Street parking available in surrounding streets. It is highly recommended you catch a taxi, Uber or get someone to drop you off at the front door.

N.B. To receive the Special ANFE Membership price, you must be a Financial Member of ANFE. Membership status will be checked when booking is received. If you are not financial you will be required to renew or pay your membership subscription prior to the event.
