Girraween Quoll Field Day
Event description
Join the Quoll Society team for our second round of spotted-tailed quoll population monitoring in Girraween National Park in 2025. We'll be setting cameras while exploring some of the stunning landscapes and incredible flora and fauna that Girraween has to offer. It's an awesome opportunity to learn quoll monitoring techniques while spending time in the bush with like-minded nature lovers.
What to expect:
The event will kick-off with a talk from quoll expert, Paul Revie, on the spotted-tailed quoll and why Girraween National Park is so important for the local population. Then, we'll break into teams and head off for some sizeable walks through Girraween to deploy quoll monitoring cameras and check out some of the amazing scenery and nature. A moderate level of physical fitness is required.

Enclosed, sturdy shoes
Long pants and long-sleeved shirt
Hat and sunscreen
Plenty of water
Lunch and snacks
Backpack with space to carry cameras and other equipment
Spaces at this event are limited, so registration is ESSENTIAL. This event is free but donations are welcome.
