Girraween Quoll Field Day 20 September
Event description
Join the Quoll Society team for a day of fun and flowers as we collect quoll cameras in Girraween National Park, Queensland's spotted-tailed quoll stronghold. It's an awesome opportunity to learn quoll monitoring techniques and hopefully see some spotty images while spending time in one of Queensland's wildflower hotspots during peak blooming season. Be aware, the event will involve lazy dawdles of around 8km, so some degree of fitness is required.
What to expect:
Meeting in the day use area at 8.30am, we'll break into teams and head off for some sizeable walks through Girraween to collect quoll monitoring cameras and check out some of the amazing scenery and nature.
