Event description

Did you know that Australians drink more than six billion cups of coffee each year, yet less than half of one per cent of that coffee is grown in Australia? At Glasshouse Plantation we want your help to change that. Get ready for a coffee adventure that celebrates the unique flavors of Australia!

Your Australian-grown coffee experience will start with a tour of our 5,000 Arabica coffee trees which will be loaded with plump ripe cherries ready for harvesting in mid-August. After your paddock experience, you will join Roastery Door Manager Nick for a coffee-tasting experience showcasing the terroir of Australian-grown coffee. This is your chance to drink a cup of 100% Australian grown coffee, most likely for the first time!

Before you leave our roastery door, pick up some local treats, including Hive Haven native honey, Hum Honey European honey, Arakai Estate green and black tea and Pineapple Link dried choc-coated pineapple.

Finish off your visit to Glasshouse Plantation with lunch in our 110-year-old farmhouse cafe with its beautiful views of our coffee plantation and the nearby iconic Glass House Mountains.

Wear comfortable, closed in walking shoes and a broad brimmed hat, and if it looks like rain, bring a brolly/raincoat.
