Lost Humanity, Found Dignity

There are many things we know are right and good - like equality and the value of every human life, and compassion for the needs and plight of others. But here's the thing - most cultures in human history have not valued these things. Why do we? The surprising answer is that Jesus has played a major role in us valuing these things, and without Jesus we wouldn't. And maybe without Jesus we will lose them.

In this evening Glen Scrivener will help us see how we came to value human dignity. We will understand the reasons for our intuitions. And we will catch a glimpse of Jesus and the extraordinary way he lived and breathed these values.

The evenings will be accessible to people from any background, and will include some musical items and a time of Q and A.
