Event description
Year 11 Major Production 2021 - Glengarry Glen Ross
Parachute Productions, the Year 11 Drama class theatre company, proudly present the Pulitzer prize-winning play Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet
A scathing satirical exposition of the ruthless capitalist business world in American society.
Following on from the success of their senior Drama debut, Falling Short, a series of vignettes exploring the psyche of the American male, Year 11 Drama students will delve even deeper into the genius of Mamet.
Glengarry Glen Ross highlights two days in the lives of four desperate Chicago real estate agents who are prepared to engage in any number of unethical, illegal acts; from lies and flattery to bribery, threats, intimidation and burglary, to sell undesirable real estate to unwitting prospective buyers.
Performed for one night only on Wednesday 27 October at 7.00pm in the Prince Philip Theatre at PAC
