Gliding through the night: A community conservation story

Discover Tallaganda, a stunning short film on the endangered Greater Glider, followed by a Q&A with the film maker and insights into local conservation success.

Event details:

Tallaganda is a captivating short film featuring breath taking nocturnal footage of the endangered Greater Glider. Using innovative filming techniques, the documentary captures the natural behaviour of gliders and a variety of other nocturnal species in their natural habitat.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with film maker David Gallan. Guest presenters will also share the results of five years of conservation efforts in the Batlow area and provide insights into the diverse range of possums and gliders that call the region home.

Come along and be inspired by how researchers, landholders and the community can work together to conserve Australia's largest gliding mammal.
