About John Pearson – Deputy British High Commissioner
John Pearson is a seasoned British diplomat with extensive experience in international relations, climate diplomacy, and multilateral engagement. Before taking up his role in Wellington, he served in senior positions within the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, including postings in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His work has focused on advancing global partnerships, promoting sustainability, and building collaborative solutions to pressing international challenges. John brings a wealth of insight into how nations can work together for a more sustainable and resilient future.
