Dear Sound Migrants & amigos, prepare for the second edition of Global Echoes, a celebration of underground global sound cultures and musical diversity rarely heard on WA shores. Following our launch event, we're back with more immersive sonic journeys, this time headlined by the incredible La Payara—Colombian artist and cultural ambassador—debuting his live set in Western Australia.

🎶 Meet La Payara 🎶
La Payara's music is a deep dive into Colombia’s traditional rhythms, blending ancestral sounds with innovative beats to create an experience that’s part spiritual ritual, part celebration of his homeland. Known for electrifying performances at major festivals like Glastonbury, Roskilde, Fusion, and Estéreo Picnic, he’s also represented Colombia globally, including at the Humboldt Museum in Berlin and Boiler Room at Tatacoa Festival. His music is a testament to the power of tradition and a reminder to honor culture and nature.

Joining La Payara:
Our lineup features Perth favorites AriKaya, Alpha T, Lady Leopard, Acid Dub Foundation, Ringmaster Mikey, Enokii, and more! The evening kicks off with salsa classes by Amoura and includes a later Latin dance performance for an extra infusion of energy. Enjoy live music with De Cuba Son from 2-5 PM in the restaurant area, before doors open to the main event.
