Event description

Outline

The Global Health Research Showcase is a flagship event to promote collaboration among researchers from across the University working in global health.

This year’s theme is Shared values, global impact. The Showcase will highlight the breadth and excellence of global health research across the University. The program features keynote addresses, dynamic panel discussions, and research presentations centred on the core principles of reciprocity, partnership, and equity—offering a unique departure from traditional topic-based sessions.

Event highlights include opportunities to hear from leading EMCRs and senior researchers, engage in panels on authentic partnerships, reciprocity in research, and equity in global health, and gain practical insights into research excellence and funding strategies.

With dedicated networking sessions and a focus on building collaborative relationships—both within the University and with regional partners—this is an excellent opportunity to connect, learn, and advance your global health research career.

The Global Health Research Showcase is jointly run by the Sydney Southeast Asia Centre, the Sydney School of Public Health and Sydney Institute for Infectious Diseases. It will take place on 4th December at the Patyegarang (Camperdown) campus, with an online option.
