Rising temperatures and the public health crisis of heatwaves are being felt across every continent. In response, collaboration between community organisations, researchers, governments, and planners has become more important than ever.

This event features Apekshita Varshney, Founder of HeatWatch, and Emma Bacon, Executive Director of Sweltering Cities, in conversation about community-centred heat action across India and Australia. We will be exploring heat as a health issue, its impacts on workers and women, and the lessons we can draw to build a more heat-safe future.
