Create quantum games and run them on quantum computers!
No game development or quantum computing experience is required!
This hybrid in-person and virtual event is part of the Global Quantum Game Jam, an annual event that brings together game developers and quantum enthusiasts worldwide.Â
This year, Quantum Game Jam is partnering with Quokka!
Quokka is a personal quantum computer emulator. Dozens of Quokkas will be available during this in-person event!Â

Saturday, 14 September: 9:00am - 9:00pm.
Sunday, 15 September: 9:00am - 5:00pm.
What to expect
In teams, you will design a game that incorporates ideas and concepts from quantum computing. Your game can even run on one of the many Quokka quantum emulators that will be available.
Quokka inventor and celebrated quantum literacy advocate Chris Ferrie will be there to guide you and explain everything you need to know about quantum computing.Â
What you need to bring
All you need is a laptop!
Optional: bring food, drinks, and a notepad for sketching ideas.
