Event description

Peter Draper, a leading expert on international trade, will discuss global and regional trade developments viewed through an Australian lens. Looking at the global realignments, including Trump tariffs, undermining of rules and the effects of geopolitics, he will assess what is driving the changes and the implications, including for free-trade dependent countries like New Zealand.

The event is Chaired by Esther Guy-Meakin, NZIIA national Board member.

Peter Draper's visit to New Zealand is funded by the Public Policy Institute at the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau. He is speaking at the Auckland Trade and Economic Policy School on 19 November. Click here for more details.
