Just in time for summer, I’m so excited to bring you the Glowbar Makeup Masterclass series!
I’m Aria Cunningham, owner of Glowbar Studio and a professional makeup artist with over 14 years of experience. I’ve created these masterclasses to share the tips, tricks and techniques I’ve learnt throughout my career and help you take your own makeup to the next level.
These are hands-on, practical sessions, meaning you’ll be doing your own makeup as I teach, step by step, with plenty of guidance along the way. We’ll cover skincare and prep, products worth investing in, making the most of what you already own and learning how to personalise your makeup to suit your features.
Come along on your own or bring your friends for good vibes, plenty of laughs, lots of makeup chat and an in-depth session where you can ask all the questions you’ve always wanted to ask a makeup artist.
There are three different masterclasses to choose from:
Glowbar Signature Glow is perfect for all levels and especially beginner friendly. We’ll focus on creating a beautiful, natural, glowy look that you can wear every day or dress up for an event.
Full Glam is for anyone wanting to take things up a notch. This is a longer, more in-depth session where we’ll create a full glam look and dive deeper into techniques for events, nights out and special occasions.
Glowbar Timeless Beauty is a specialised workshop for women 40+. This beginner-friendly session is a relaxed space to learn techniques that beautifully enhance your natural features and help you feel confident in your makeup.
There’ll also be little treats to nibble on, refreshments, giveaways and of course, goody bags to take home.
My biggest goal is for you to leave feeling more confident than when you arrived, with new skills, plenty of tips and tricks and a much better understanding of how to make your makeup work for your face, your features and you.
FAQs
- DO I NEED TO BE GOOD AT MAKEUP TO ATTEND?
Not at all. The lessons cater to all levels, and you can learn at your own pace. I like to keep things fun, relaxed and not too daunting, so whether you're a complete beginner or already know your way around a makeup bag, you'll get something out of it.
- WHICH MASTERCLASS SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Have a read through each masterclass description and choose the one that best suits you and what you want to learn. If you're still unsure, feel free to get in touch and I can help. For a complete beginner I'd recommend the Glow or Ageless, and for more advanced or I'd opt for Glam.
- DO I BRING MY OWN MAKEUP?
Yes. Please bring along your own skincare, makeup and brushes. Don’t have much? Don’t worry, that’s the whole point. There’ll be plenty of product recommendations on the day, ready for you to add to cart just in time for the Black Friday sales.
- CAN I HAVE A LIST OF MAKEUP I NEED TO BUY BEFOREHAND?
Yes, however, I’d recommend attending the session first and then deciding what to buy afterwards. I’ll be recommending particular products and personalising things quite a bit, so it makes more sense to buy once you know what will actually work for you.
- WILL I NEED TO SPEND HEAPS OF MONEY?
No. I’m huge on having a balance between all budgets and I love sharing amazing affordable products to save you money. The goal is to help you spend your money wisely, not convince you to buy everything.
- DO I HAVE TO DO MY MAKEUP DURING THE WORKSHOP?
Not at all. You’re more than welcome to simply observe, take notes and learn along the way if you’d prefer. Note-taking materials will be provided for everyone to use throughout the session.
- CAN I COME ON MY OWN?
Of course. Come on your own or bring a friend. The sessions will be relaxed, fun and social, and you definitely won’t be the only person attending solo.
- WILL I BE ABLE TO ASK QUESTIONS?
Absolutely. These sessions are interactive, and there’ll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout.
- WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Bring your skincare, makeup and brushes, plus anything else you regularly use in your routine. Bring your makeup bag exactly as it is.
- HOW LONG ARE THE WORKSHOPS?
The workshops vary slightly depending on questions and how the session flows, but expect them to run for around 3–4 hours. The Full Glam Masterclass is the longest, and there will be a break in the middle.
- CAN I GET SUPPORT AFTER THE MASTERCLASS?
Yes. I also offer 1:1 makeup lessons, which you're welcome to book at any time if you'd like to sharpen up the things you've learnt or get some more personalised guidance.
- ARE THE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?
No, tickets are non-refundable. However, you’re welcome to sell or transfer your ticket to a friend or family member if you can no longer attend. Please see refund policy for more info.
- WILL THERE BE FOOD AND DRINKS?
Yes. There’ll be light refreshments and little treats to nibble on throughout the session, plus giveaways and goody bags to take home. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
