Fiddler on the Roof
Event description
We would love to invite you to our 2024 School Production of Fiddler on the Roof
Based on Sholom Aleichem’s Tevye and his Daughters, Fiddler on the Roof tells the beloved story of Anatevka, a small, tradition-steeped town in Russia where Jews and Russians live in delicate balance. The musical explores the timeless traditions of Anatevka, embraced and challenged by Tevye and his vibrant community, as they navigate the extraordinary changes affecting Tevye’s daughters, Tzeitel, Hodel, and Chava, as they grow up and fall in love. Fiddler on the Roof made history with its Broadway premiere, becoming the longest-running Broadway musical of its time. This captivating story resonates with universal themes of love, community, success, freedom, family, and meaning. Enjoy iconic songs like the beautiful “Sunrise, Sunset,” the lively “If I Were a Rich Man,” and the classic “Matchmaker, Matchmaker.”
