Event description

Interested in going solar, maybe installing a battery, but don’t know where to start? This community event is for you!

On Monday, February 17, Inner West Community Energy, your local not-for-profit community energy group, is heading to the Little BIG House community centre for our first Solar Information Night in Summer Hill.

So if you live in Summer Hill, Ashfield, Petersham, Lewisham, Burwood, Croydon or surrounds, we’d especially love to see you… but all are welcome.

And if you’re in a heritage or conservation area and think you can’t install solar, we’ll explain why that’s no longer true.

We’ll be at the Little BIG House at 16 Flour Mill Way for a free event starting at 630pm and running for about an hour.

It’ll be our usual friendly format: an introduction to Inner West Community Energy, an overview of how we can help you install quality solar at your house or small business, then it’ll be over to you to ask as many questions as time permits. One of our preferred solar installers, one of Sydney’s most experienced, will be there to answer your questions.

This night is for owners of detached or semi-detached houses. It won't cover the issue of going solar in apartment buildings.

It’s a free event but numbers are limited - please book here through Humanitix.
