Event description

Join us for our last Goat Yoga of the year. This one hour beginner friendly class is designed for anyone and everyone even if you have never done yoga before! We will be having a ugly Christmas sweater contest, so grab your tackiest holiday outfit and see if you can win a prize. Don't worry about looking silly in an ugly sweat, because we all will be wearing them including the goats!!! We will also be having Santa joining us for class, so make sure you are on your best behavior or you may end up on the naughty list. Make sure to show up a little earlier so that you can have your photo taken with Santa and his "reindeer.." There will be time after class and get your picture taken too. Afterwards you will receive an edited copy of your visit.

With the addition of plenty gentle Nigerian Dwarf goats provides great stress-relief and lots of smiles and laughs throughout the class. Our goats are very friendly, curious creatures, so be carefully what you bring to class. They are great at snuggling, and so much fun to watch play. We will have our Goat Wranglers walking around to take picture for you at any time. We also allow time after class to mingle with the goats (and humans) and take additional photos. We are family friendly, beginner friendly, and allow ages 7+ with a parent or guardian. Goat Yoga makes a great date or group activity or an unforgoatable birthday surprise!

This class will be held outside in a beautiful fenced, well-maintained pasture area with an antique Ford truck and beautiful barn as the background setting. There will be plenty of space for social distancing. In case of inclement weather, class will be moved inside to our amazing open air indoor barn.

Goat Yoga is simply a great time for all! Don't miss your chance to try this national craze on the most beautiful farm around!

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Goat Yoga is best for ages 7+. We ask this for attention span of some younger children (we realize this does not apply to all younger children), as well as for the safety of the children and the goats. Groups of children/teens should have at least 1 adult participant.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The address for Double Durango Farm is private. It will be emailed only to registered participants. The email will include detailed parking directions. There is plenty of space for free, off street parking in a large open pasture, no worries!

What can I bring into the event?

We encourage you to bring a yoga mat or beach towel, and water. There will be mats available to rent for $5 (CASH ONLY). Wear clothes that you are comfortable in and with a goat jumping or nibbling on, some prefer t-shirts or dark colors since hooves can be scratchy or dirty at times. Flip flops are nice for an easy on/off. Goats are attracted to jewelry, less is more unless you want it eaten! Use your discretion of whether you want sunscreen, bug spray, phone, etc.

We will have a clean up crew in case of goat accidents. Pee and poo does occasionally happen, but goat poo is pellets that brush away easily. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR PETS ALLOWED!

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

We welcome questions, please email info@3downdogsyoga.com or submit a form through Humanitix and we will respond shortly!

What's the refund policy?

NO REFUNDS. Please contact us at least 48 hours prior to class by email if something should come up, so we can look at future dates to reschedule your class. If you do not contact us prior to class, and do not come to class, a refund or reschedule of that ticket will not be possible and you will need to register and purchase another ticket to attend a future class.
