Goethean Studies: a New Way of Seeing ~ with Mark Phillips & Anne Williams
Event description
‘If we wish to arrive at a living perception of nature, we ourselves must remain as quick and flexible as nature and follow her example.’ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Rudolf Steiner saw in Goethe's work an expression of a dynamic, living form of thinking that would enhance our understanding and experience of nature.
Through perceptual and artistic exercises, you will encounter Goethe's science of the wholeness of living things.
This course is for those seeking a way to connect with the world that is both accurate and artistic. No scientific knowledge or artistic skill is necessary. Bring only a willingness to carefully explore a new way to see the world.
