Join Saul Griffith, engineer and Chief Scientist at Rewiring Australia, as he discusses his latest book Plug In: The Electrification Handbook, which provides practical advice for everyday Australians on upgrading their homes and cars. You will also hear from community groups about the local action happening in your neighbourhoods.
Joining Saul for the event will be Renew Economy's Anne Delaney, host of Switched On Podcast.

Saul Griffith
Saul is an engineer and entrepreneur specialising in clean and renewable energy technologies. Saul has founded a dozen technology companies across 20 years in Silicon Valley. Saul has recently turned his attention from Otherlab, his independent Research and Development lab, to policy work and writing, including founding Rewiring America, Rewiring Australia and Rewiring Aotearoa, non-partisan organisations dedicated to electrification and decarbonisation. Saul is an Honorary Professor of Practice with the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wollongong.
Anne Delaney
Anne Delaney is the host of the SwitchedOn Australia podcast, which shines a spotlight on the people, projects, and policies driving Australia’s clean energy transition. Produced by the team at Renew Economy, who have been tracking the green energy shift for over a decade, SwitchedOn focuses on consumers and communities, delivering news, analysis, explainers, and personal stories that highlight the opportunities and challenges of electrifying everything. Anne brings a rich and varied background to her role. She spent several years as a producer and presenter with ABC and SBS before becoming an independent documentary filmmaker. She’s also worked as a consultant for various UN agencies and NGOs, as well as an advisor to a federal government minister. Today, she combines her media expertise with her passion for social and environmental change working across journalism, audio, and art projects.
