Description

Join Nicole Pates, paediatric physiotherapist, mum of two and founder of Western Kids Health, for a morning about playing with purpose and connecting with your child through play. Nicole is the voice behind @nicole_kidsphysio, an online community of more than 500K+ humans across social media who care deeply about the little ones they're raising and treating.

Play is how children make sense of the world and it's also one of the simplest ways to feel close to them. Nicole will lead a 30 minute discussion on what purposeful play really looks like day-to-day, why risky play is something we should encourage rather than something we should fear, and how seeing development through the lens of play opens up so many possibilities! You'll leave with practical ideas you can use that afternoon, at home or in practice if you're a health professional.

This event is for parents and professionals alike. Whether you're raising little ones, working with them, or both, it's a wonderful chance to connect with paediatric health professionals, educators and passionate parents, all in one beautiful space at The Glass House at Ground Currumbin.

The morning also celebrates the Gold Coast launch of Nicole's book, Purposeful Play, a no pressure companion to guide play with your baby from birth to walking, with over 100 simple, tried and tested activities you can do at home. Your ticket includes your very own copy, so you'll take the ideas home with you.

This is a relaxed session for the grown ups, and babies in arms are most welcome. Free parking is available at Ground Currumbin.

Tickets are strictly limited, so secure your spot early. We can't wait to play.
