Grandparents and the grandkids alike will have a ball learning to fish together.

Learning all the basics of fishing including how to tie fishing knots, bait hooks and cast a fishing rod.

Finding out about the different rules for different species, how to identify your catch etc.

Participants will be given plenty of tips to make their next fishing trip more successful.

All fishing equipment, tackle and bait are supplied.

This activity is for an adult and child or children.

We understand not everyone is fortunate to have their grandparents close by so a parent, aunty, uncle, etc is more than welcome.

We recommend you bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and wear clothes that can get wet.

This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of their Active and Healthy Program. Gold n Kids.
