Travel instructions
Phee Broadway Theatre is located at 212 Barker St, Castlemaine. There is car parking out the front of the venue including an accessible carpark. If carparks are full there is more car parking on Barker St or behind the venue on Templeton St. The nearest train station is Castlemaine Train Station which is 450 metres away. The journey from the train station to the Phee Broadway theatre is wheelchair accessible but there is a steep incline for the first half of the journey.
Entry instructions
On arrival outside of the Phee Broadway theatre there are steps to enter or the choice of a ramp on the right side of the venue. The entry door is an automatic sliding door. When arriving at Phee Broadway there is a foyer with seats if needed, and plenty of room for wheelchair users.
After entry instructions
Event staff will be there to greet you in the foyer, and the door to the Phee Broadway theatre will be open before the event begins.
Hazards
Potential hazards include the theatre tiered steps, please ask for assistance if required.
Toilet location
As you enter the foyer the accessible toilet is on the left-hand side up a long ramp. It is signposted and there will be event staff in the foyer who can direct you.
Accessible parking
The accessible parking spot is out the front of the venue on Barker St, Castlemaine, left of the venue. There is also another accessible carpark on Templeton St which is located directly behind the venue.

Gold Sounds: Venue Information
THE TAPROOM The Taproom is wheelchair accessible from the front entrance. There is an accessible carpark near the front entrance. The back entrance is not wheelchair accessible. There are two steps to enter with a handrail. There are accessible toilets and seating throughout the venue if required. There is also plenty of space for wheelchair users. The bar is lowered for wheelchair users to access. PHEE BROADWAY THEATRE The Phee Broadway Theatre is wheelchair accessible from the front entrance. There is a ramp to the door. There is an accessible toilet. If needed there are seats in the front foyer. The seating in the theatre is tiered with several steps on multiple levels. There is a handrail that runs up the side of the wall. There is designated wheelchair seating up the front. The foyer can be used as a quiet space if needed during the conference. CASTLEMAINE SENIOR CITIZENS CENTRE Castlemaine Senior Citizens Centre is wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp up to the door. There are accessible toilets. There are seats and plenty of space for wheelchair users. CASTLEMAINE COMMUNITY HOUSE The entry to Castlemaine Community House, via Templeton Street, has two steps at the front door and then a small staircase in the foyer. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp at the rear of the building near the accessible carpark and staff parking, entry is via Mechanics Lane. There is an accessible toilet located in the centre of the building. Assistance and guide dogs are welcomed.
