Breathwork, Gentle Movement, Yin Yoga, Reiki & Yoga Nidra (MSBR) for Nervous System Down-regulation and Deep Rest
As autumn deepens, the natural world encourages us to reflect, release, and renew. In this 3-hour immersive workshop, we’ll blend the grounding stillness of seasonal Yin yoga with essential oil assists, followed by a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra infused with Reiki.
We’ll focus on the Earth Element and its connection to the Spleen and Stomach meridians—our energetic sources of nourishment, stability, and digestion. Supported by soothing aromatherapy and mindful touch, you'll be guided into deep states of rest, recalibrating your nervous system and planting the seeds of clarity for the months ahead.
This is an invitation to slow down, embrace the harvest of your experiences, and create space for new beginnings as we move into the quiet, contemplative months of fall
Workshop Overview - 3 hours
- 30 mins Breathwork
- 45-minute Slow Movement *The Golden Seed is inspired by the fertile teachings of Paul and Suzee Grilley. It is a
Daoist yoga flow that allows us to wake up the energy body as well as cool down
from a more vigorous yang practice. It is a nice short practice to stimulate energy.
- 15-minute Break (Tea/Raw Chocolate)
- 70 minute Yin (with Essential Oils, Massage/Loving Assists) + Reiki on each practitioner.
Meridian Pair: Spleen & Stomach Meridians
Aligned with the Earth Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine, these meridians govern digestion, nourishment, and stability. Poses will focus on opening the front body, particularly the chest, abdomen, and hips, areas connected to the Spleen and Stomach meridians, helping to release tension and cultivate deep inner balance.
- 20-minute Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction/Yoga Nidra + Reiki on each practitioner
- Finish with Rolling Om (Stimulate Vagus Nerve)
