We are very excited to anounce a thrilling series of workshops from Golden Scissor Puppets. Run by Opal, come get ur hands dirdy and your clothes ruined in the pursuit of puppet making! Across 10 weeks you can join Opal in making your own creature creation. Recommend coming to at least 3 classes to give yourself enough time to get everything glued and dried!

Led by Opal, you'll have the opportunity to bring your wildest creature creations to life, from terrifying beasts to more casual characters.

Each session promises hands-on excitement as you delve into the art of punk rock puppet crafting, with Opal guiding you every step of the way. Be prepared to embrace the messiness of creativity as you get your hands dirty and your clothes ruined with the marks of artistic exploration.

To ensure you have ample time to perfect your masterpiece, we recommend attending a minimum of three classes. This will give you the opportunity to let your creations take shape, with enough time for glue to set and designs to come to life. The more you attend the more we’ll be able to develop! You’re absolutely welcome to attend a single class and make something smaller too. We’ll have an option to do shadow puppetry, mask making and small groups making larger puppets
