Golf with Cliff Views

The Tasman Golf Club course is a Par 70 (5310 metre) with well-defined fairways that wind their way through native eucalypt trees and along the rugged cliff face some 50 metres high and has spectacular scenery overlooking Safety Cove and with views to Cape Raoul, Port Arthur Historic Site and through the Port Arthur Heads out to the Southern Ocean. Visitors can encounter a variety of wild life such as friendly echidnas that live in the area, sea birds and even the occasional whale. The Tasman Golf Club course is currently rated as one of the top 9 hole golf courses in Tasmania and is well recognised interstate and overseas. The Club is managed by a small group of community members who are also responsible for maintaining the greens, fairways and club rooms. Donations will contribute to much needed building improvements.
