Good Design vs Bad Design

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

"The world divides neatly into two parts; one designed by Mother Nature, the other by Man Everything made by man has been designed, it’s just that a lot of it hasn’t been designed effectively”.

Good design is not just what looks good. It also needs to amaze, perform, astonish, fulfil its purpose, and most importantly meet a need. This workshop will explore some examples of great and not so great design examples and participants will be encouraged to send in an example of what they perceive as good or bad design in today's world.

Participants will leave the workshop with an understanding of the elements needed to create meaningful innovation and what organisations need to keep in mind in order to make design ‘stick’ in the eyes of their customers.

This workshop will be hosted by Pratima Kalmadi, Manager, Innovation and User Centred Design with The Stratgy Group.
