A Neighbourhood Dining Series
Good Gathering, is a new series of community-focused dining events that prioritise connections and storytelling over profit.
These communal dinners are being held in homes and community halls and will bring guests together with creatives and makers and local producers.
Each Good Gathering will feature a specially-curated seasonal menu laden with fresh, locally-sourced produce. And each event will invite special guests with fascinating stories to tell over a shared meal.
A portion of each ticket sale from Good Gathering will go to the Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council
You may arrive as strangers but will leave as friends.
Good Gathering featuring Heartbake Supper Club
Discover the healing power of food.
The very first Good Gathering will host the wonderful author and cook, Charlotte Ree, celebrating the launch of her new book HeartBake, a bittersweet memoir. Good Gathering will bring to life a special Heartbake Bites intimate supper club full of love and good conversation. Centred around food and feelings, you’ll share a meal with strangers turned friends in the beautiful seaside setting of Patonga, on Darkingjung land.
Along with local Legend, Rigatoni for Toni (aka Tristan Fraser) Charlotte will cook and serve a five course meal featuring producers from across the Coast, with dishes paired with wines chosen by Mike Bennie from P&V Liquor.
The evening will feature a conversation with Charlotte and Mike and the opportunity to purchase a copy of Heartbake, signed by Charlotte herself. Did we mention a live band to serenade us between courses?
A portion of each ticket sale will go to the Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council.
