Good Governance

This practical Governance training session will help you gain confidence as a Board or Committee member. You will increase your understanding of the importance of good governance and how it can make your organisation more effective.

Completion of this course will increase your understanding of:

• the need for and value of Good Governance
  
• the underpinning role and responsibilities of your Board or Committee
• decision-making and how to do it effectively
• recognising the warning signs of poor governance
  
• strategy and risk – principles, assessment and planning.

This session is designed for new and experienced committee members and directors.
