‘Good Ideas from Good Ideas’ with Ben Mardell
Event description
Where do good ideas come from? Understanding that one can get good ideas from peers - learn from and with others - helps answer this question and is an important component of a learning community. Good Ideas from Good Ideas is a practice which promotes this meta-cognitive understanding. In this session examples of the practice will be shared, participants will have a chance to play with the practice and discuss its implications for their teaching.
This workshop, held in collaboration with the Project Zero Australia Network, is free and open to anyone with an interest in education. While the Pedagogy of Play is grounded in early childhood practices, its principles are equally valuable for engaging older students and adult learners.
