🌟 About Good in the Hood and Together2

This raffle is a partnership between Good in the Hood and Together2, two community organisations dedicated to supporting vulnerable people and strengthening local communities.

Together2 has been serving the Inner West community for more than 40 years. Originating from the Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre, the organisation has a long history of connecting people to practical support, community programs and opportunities that improve wellbeing and social inclusion.

Good in the Hood has been bringing people together across Sydney's Inner West since 2020. As a volunteer-led organisation, our mission is to create a truly inclusive community where everyone knows they are valued, supported and recognised. We use the power of food to create opportunities for connection, kindness and belonging.

Working together, Together2 and Good in the Hood currently help deliver approximately 19,000 meals each year to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Their combined efforts ensure that people have access to nutritious food, community support and pathways to a better quality of life.

As demand for food relief continues to grow, Good in the Hood requires improved facilities to expand its capacity and meet the increasing needs of the community. Funds raised through this raffle will contribute to the development of a new modern kitchen and cool room, helping the organisation prepare, store and distribute even more fresh meals safely and efficiently.
