Good Tunes Charity Bush Dance #4 for 2025 - Community Plus+
Event description
A community bush dance with the Good Tunes Band open to all ages. Dances are walked through and called – no experience required!
All entry sales will be donated to support Community Plus+.
The Community Food Program at Kurilpa Kiosk is a First Nations-led initiative dedicated to enhancing nutrition and food security for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.
Operated by the Community Plus+ First Nations team, the program will be based at People’s Park in West End, a site of deep cultural significance traditionally belonging to the Jagera, Yuggera, and Turrbal peoples.
Objectives: Improve Nutrition and Food Security: Provide access to nutritious food, particularly fresh produce, to address dietary needs and prevent nutrition-related illnesses. Bush Dance funds raised will go towards Community Support: Foster a culturally safe space that supports social engagement, yarning sessions, and food sharing traditions.
ABOUT THE DANCE
The dance callers and musicians are donating their time and effort.
Entry is $10 per person, $20 per family or affordable donation.
Tickets can be pre-purchased or pay cash or credit card at the door.
BYO drinks and nibbles.
Doors open 6.30pm.

Have lots of exercise and experience an enjoyable evening of social dancing. Meet interesting people of all ages and backgrounds in a relaxed atmosphere.
